The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed about the higher quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly read more mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at sassa Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The support stage created for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
